Follow a few basic maintenance instructions to keep your DOG looking and grilling better for years to come! CLEANING After cooking, always clear any food remains from the DOG and/or the DOG GRID. Remove them by heating the DOG to a temperature of approximately 300°C and then scrape it off with a spatula. Any remaining bacteria will be destroyed by the heat generated with every grilling session. COVER IT UP! If your DOG is subject to a particularly harsh environment, you will want to clean the outside more often.
Acid rain, chemicals, and salt water can cause surface rusting to appear. DOG Fire recommends wiping down the outside of your grill (not the grill plate itself!) with warm soapy water. Follow up with a rinse and thorough drying. SAFETY DOG Fire has done everything possible to ensure the safety of the cooker when in use. However, the users themselves are responsible for their own safety and that of their environment. Users must always act prudently and handle the DOG and the accessories with caution.
